Dr. Sims is a Registered Yoga and Meditation Teacher (RYT-200) and completed her training a Sacred Chill [West] in March of 2020.  While she is new to teaching, she is very familiar with the transformative nature of yoga and meditation.  

She feels called to teach because far too often she attended yoga classes where she didn’t feel seen.  She believes voices like hers need to be shared and heard.

Her offerings are designed to cultivate safe spaces for people, especially people of color, to experience healing that transforms the mind, body, and spirit.  Additionally, it is a space for diverse people to be seen, heard, and held. Far too often, people from marginalized identities and diverse backgrounds feel the burden of working tirelessly and giving more to the world than they receive. Dr. Sims seeks to create classes and sessions that allow people to lay down their burdens of the world, even just for the length of class, to find their flow AND their rest.   

Classes, workshops, and private lessons include: Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, Yin, and Meditation.  These offerings will help students to deepen their practice on the mat and their overall connection with themselves off the mat. 

Yoga and meditation is one path to knowing your worth, trusting your inner wisdom, and enhancing your overall wellness and can serve as an excellent supplement to therapy or as stand alone practice.
